LL Cool J - To Da Break Of Dawn

This was a classic diss track. LL crushed Kool Moe Dee, Hammer, and Ice-T, who all started it. And they all lost on the same track. There was great rhyming in the golden age hip hop era as well as hilarity in the tracks. I need this album in my collection as well as more of his other albums.

Fat Joe - Definition Of A Don

Everthing about this song is classic. This was back when hip hop was not so sensitive and weak. There was more hardcore hip hop music selling like the Ruff Ryders, Wu-Tang, Terror Squad, and more. The beat has a pure New York sound even The Alchemist, the song's producer, is from California though he produces for Nas, Mobb Deep, Kool G Rap, Raekwon, and others. Fat Joe had two nice hard verses and Remy Ma has a mediocre but hilarous chorus. In the end, this song is one of my favorites.

Snoop Dogg - The Way Life Used To Be

This was one of the best songs of 2011 and no one bought this album because people are fickle and were expecting the last two Snoop Dogg albums (which I don't love but don't hate). It had a classic feel to it and it was a standout on the album because he reconnected with his longtime collaborator Battlecat and made a pure West Coast hip hop song that should've gotten more exposure.

LL Cool J - It's Time For War

This song has an old school and a new school feel. LL sounded inspired and hungry on here. This was a highly underrated, underpromoted, and misunderstood album from LL Cool J. It was one of the better hip hop albums of 2008. I hope he releases something in 2012 or at least a video for "No More" with Ne-Yo.
